Job Description
- Develop detailed 3D models for MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, using BIM tools like Revit or Navisworks.
- Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural models to ensure spatial compatibility.
- Participate in clash detection processes and resolve issues in collaboration with other disciplines.
- Update models regularly to reflect design changes and construction progress.
- Ensure compliance with project-specific BIM standards and industry codes.
- Maintain and organize model libraries, families, and templates for MEP components.
- Assist in preparing models for energy simulations, load calculations, and system optimization.
- Provide support in preparing BIM deliverables for client and stakeholder review.
- Document and manage changes to models, ensuring traceability and version control.
- Support team members with technical expertise in using BIM tools and resolving software issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 2 – 5 years of relevant, progressive experience, including 2 years in Consulting firm
- Prior working experience in Design and using REVIT
