Job Description
- Prepare and review architectural shop drawings and construction documents in accordance with project specifications.
- Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other trades to ensure smooth integration.
- Review and comment on IFC drawings and client-provided documentation.
- Participate in technical meetings, internal coordination reviews, and consultant/client workshops.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and support the procurement and site teams with technical data.
- Ensure all designs and documentation comply with local building codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Support site engineers with technical clarifications and revisions when required.
- Lead the as-built documentation process post-project completion.
- Assist in value engineering processes to propose cost-effective design alternatives without compromising quality.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in architectural design and technical office roles, preferably within construction or engineering consultancy firms.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), Photoshop, and MS Office; knowledge of Navisworks is a plus.
- Solid understanding of architectural detailing, finishing materials, and construction processes.
- Familiarity with local codes and international standards (e.g., NFPA, BS, IBC).
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
