Job Description
- Review and validate architectural drawings, specifications, and documents received from consultants or clients.
- Prepare, modify, and issue architectural shop drawings and as-built drawings in coordination with site teams and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with design intent, local regulations, codes, and standards.
- Collaborate with structural, MEP, and site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project execution.
- Quantify materials and prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) for architectural elements.
- Coordinate submittals for materials, samples, and drawings for consultant/client approval.
- Track and manage RFI (Request for Information) logs, drawing submittals, and documentation timelines.
- Assist in preparing method statements and technical documentation for project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and report deviations to the technical office manager.
- Support value engineering and design modification efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and buildability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in technical office or architectural engineering roles, preferably in construction or contracting companies.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design tools.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera or MS Project is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, architectural detailing, and materials.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), especially for reporting and documentation.
