Job Description
- Conceptual Design & Schematic Development ,Develop initial design concepts based on project requirements and client needs.
- Create schematic drawings, 3D models, and presentations to communicate design ideas.
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies.
- Design Development & Construction Documentation, Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards. Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering consultants.
- Develop construction specifications and schedules.
- Construction Administration: Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with design intent. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address design-related issues.
- Respond to contractor RFIs (Requests for Information). Participate in project meetings.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Design Manager and other team members to ensure design consistency.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Present design concepts and progress updates to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design, preferably in residential and commercial real estate.
- Strong knowledge of building codes and construction techniques.
- Excellent design and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
