The Opportunity: Shape Our ERP's Future
As our new Product Owner, you'll be guiding the development of Shebak's ERP platform in the right direction. This isn't a routine backlog-shuffling job – it's a chance to set the vision and strategy for a product that impacts finance, retail, and e-commerce operations. You will:
- Drive the Product Roadmap: Define and contribute to the product vision and roadmap, seeking out innovative features and solutions to keep our ERP ahead of the curve. You'll prioritize enhancements that extend functionality and simplify the user experience, striking a balance between big-picture goals and incremental improvements.
- Own the Backlog: Take charge of the team backlog – create clear scope documents and user stories, then refine and prioritize them to deliver maximum value. You'll decide what gets built and when, keeping our development team focused on what matters most.
- Innovate with AI: Work closely with leadership to integrate AI capabilities into the ERP. Whether it's smarter analytics, predictive features, or AI-driven automation, you'll help identify and shape how AI can elevate our platform to the next level.
- Champion the User: Always advocate for a simpler, better user experience. You'll gather feedback from users and clients in finance, retail, and e-commerce, and turn that into actionable improvements. Complex workflows? You'll find ways to streamline them. New use cases? You'll help design elegant solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Manage and inspire a cross-functional team of developers, designers, and QA. By fostering open communication and a clear Definition of Done, you guarantee that features are delivered on time and meet our quality standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, share product updates, and set expectations. You'll be the point of contact for product changes and handle customer communications with professionalism and empathy, keeping our users excited about what's coming next.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Smart Village (Giza) office, where you'll work face-to-face with our tight-knit team in a vibrant tech community.
Job Requirements
What We're Looking For (Ideal Candidate)
We’re seeking a mid-level Product Owner who can wear many hats and is excited to grow with us. The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in ERP, SaaS, or B2B software.
- Cross-functional leadership: You can speak the language of developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders alike. Keeping everyone on the same page comes naturally to you.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A passion for usability, simplicity, and customer satisfaction.
