Bright Nozha Schools (BNS), a leading educational institution committed to providing a holistic and innovative learning experience, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Integrated Sciences Teacher to join our dynamic team at the Nozha branch. We are looking for an educator who is enthusiastic about fostering a love of science in students through engaging, hands-on activities and interdisciplinary connections.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an integrated science curriculum aligned with BNS's educational philosophy .
- Create engaging and innovative lesson plan s that integrate science concepts across different disciplines.
- Utilize hands-on experiments, projects, and technology to enhance student understanding and critical thinking skills.
- Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including formative and summative assessments, projects, and class participation.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student curiosity and exploration.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and interdisciplinary educational experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities, fostering a strong home-school partnership.
- Stay current with best practices in science education, integrated curriculum development, and educational technology.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's science program.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics). A Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience teaching science, with a preference for candidates who have worked in integrated or interdisciplinary settings.
- Comprehensive understanding of scientific concepts and principles across multiple disciplines.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Proven ability to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles and promotes student success.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance instruction and student learning, including experience with interactive whiteboards (Smartboard preferred) and learning management systems.
- Experience with the CoLNN System is highly desirable.
