Job Description

  • Deliver engaging and interactive ICT lessons to students in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
  • Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments tailored to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Integrate technology into classroom activities to enhance student learning and digital literacy.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to foster academic growth.
  • Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills through project-based learning and group activities.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports student engagement and participation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in ICT education, incorporating them into teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student development and school initiatives.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular ICT activities, clubs, or competitions to enrich the student experience.
  • Uphold school policies, procedures, and values, serving as a role model for students.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 year and up to 10 years of experience teaching ICT or related subjects at the elementary or secondary level.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a range of ICT topics, including computer fundamentals, coding, internet safety, and productivity software.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to design and implement differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with technological advancements.
  • Experience with integrating educational technology and digital tools into the curriculum.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop digital literacy and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with assessment and evaluation techniques in an educational setting.
  • Willingness to participate in school events, meetings, and professional learning communities.
