Job Description
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational philosophy.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents to support academic and personal development.
- Develop individualized learning plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and collaborative school community.
- Implement classroom management strategies that promote respect, responsibility, and a love of learning.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Organize and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior in compliance with school policies.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to continuously improve instructional practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a homeroom teacher or in a similar teaching role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to teach multiple subjects at the elementary or primary school level.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into classroom instruction.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and school activities.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
