Job Description
- Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Simplify complex scientific concepts to suit the age and level of students.
- Design experiments, activities, and demonstrations to enhance learning.
- Assess, record, and report on students’ progress through assignments, tests, and observations.
- Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning styles and needs.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff on cross-disciplinary projects and school events.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school development activities.
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methods, science education trends, and curriculum changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science).
- Teaching certificate or license is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and the ability to explain them clearly.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficient in using educational technology and digital teaching tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
- Fluent in English (if teaching in an English-language curriculum).
- Passion for education and continuous professional development.
