Project Manager

Purpose of the job

To be responsible for supporting and coordinating ALJ Entities in planning and progress monitoring of their Hoshin Kanri objectives/ initiative and Projects to execute the assigned Company Strategy. To enable that, managing the initial feasibility, schedule, budget, resources & scope alignment of projects as well as Organizational Change Management (OCM) practices, to ensure to meet their business objectives.

Responsible for following ALJ enterprise-PMO Project Management Process SOP, in line with industry standards (like PMI PMP, AIPMO IPMO, Prince 2, Toyota Project Management) to manage the projects.

Main Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a detailed project schedule which includes all tasks involved in the project, all project phases and dependencies with strong focus on change management (internal/external)
• Manage changes to ensure time, budget, and scope are agreed on by all stakeholders; Deliver projects on-time, on-scope, and on budget.
• Continuously Monitor and report on activity levels and project progress, alerting Steering Committee/ Management about potential problems before they or as they arise (issue and risk management)
• Develop and follow-up the execution of project risk mitigation plans.
• Escalate issues in time and advise ways to resolve the issues with continuous close communication with key stakeholders.
• Align with the project sponsor on the need / frequency to call for steering committee meetings
• Ensure the successful completion of Project feasibility study at the initiation stage of Project and measurement of the business value realized (BVR) to report the project success at the post go-live stage
• Ensure the adherence to company standards and methodologies, including Delegation of Authority, Project Management and Change Management processes
• Ensure to identify, plan and effectively execute the Organizational Change Management (OCM) actions for each Project.
• Support the ALJ entities for their Strategy execution through Hoshin Kanri system (Planning and Progress Monitoring Phases) according to annual plan
• Support to enhance the Kaizen ability of ALJ Entities through coordinating their Kaizen Marathon
• Work with the Project key stakeholders (coordinators and internal teams etc) to start the initiative/project with SMART targets.
• Work with vendors, partners and business sponsors during the Project Execution Phase
• Work with finance to ensure project spending is being managed effectively and planned benefits are realized and verified
• Advise ideas & techniques to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
• Recommend improvements (kaizens) to business processes related to managed projects
