Demand Planner

The Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate sales forecasts and aligning inventory with market demand across all product categories and distribution channels. This role plays a critical part in balancing supply and demand, minimizing stockouts and overstocks, and ensuring supply chain efficiency. The Demand Planner works closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and product teams to ensure that planning inputs are accurate, timely, and data-driven.

• Analyze past sales data, market trends, and promotional impacts
• Prepare rolling demand forecasts for all SKUs and channels
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and logistics on planning accuracy
• Align forecasts with production and procurement teams to ensure raw material and capacity availability
• Collaborate with marketing team to forecast new product launches, phase-ins, and phase-outs
• Recommend adjustments to production and purchasing plans based on demand shifts
• Monitor forecast accuracy and perform root cause analysis of variances
• Develop inventory replenishment plans and safety stock thresholds
• Support new product launch and delisting planning
• Create dashboards for demand KPIs (forecast bias, error %, OSA)
