What You’ll Be Doing

The Social Media Specialist will leverage their creativity, communication, and analytical skills to manage and enhance the company’s presence across various social media platforms. In this role, you will develop strategies to increase brand awareness, foster engagement, and drive customer acquisition and retention. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create, execute, and optimize social media campaigns that align with the company’s objectives. Additionally, you will monitor and moderate user-generated content and discussions to maintain a positive and inclusive community environment.

Major Duties

  • Monitor and moderate user-generated content and discussions to maintain a positive and inclusive community environment.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with marketing and sales objectives.
  • Create and manage monthly content calendars for social media platforms.
  • Design, write, and post content tailored to each platform, ensuring high levels of engagement.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
  • Coordinate with key accounts to develop branded visuals and social media content.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align campaigns with promotional calendars and brand objectives.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and algorithms to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
  • Aggregate insights from social media analytics tools to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Foster community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Report on key performance metrics and present actionable insights to stakeholders.

Job Requirements

 

  • University graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in social media or a related role.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter) and tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and analytics dashboards.
  • Strong creative and copywriting skills tailored to various social platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with social media metrics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for staying updated on social media trends and emerging platforms.
  • Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and measurable results.
