Job Brief
The Packing Executive is responsible for overseeing packing plant operations to meet productivity targets and quality standards.
The role includes supervising staff, maintaining accurate records of cement packing and inventory, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and optimizing the packing process.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the packing plant with a focus on equipment reliability.
Lead and manage the packing team with strong operational and troubleshooting skills.
Ensure adherence to all quality standards and norms.
Operate and oversee all aspects of the packing plant with sound technical knowledge.
Handle materials in bulk quantities such as clinker, cement, jumbo bags, and bulk loading operations.
Prepare and maintain daily and monthly packing reports.
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed following HSE norms.
Maintain accurate inventory records for empty and filled bags and packing-related materials.
Use MS Excel effectively for recordkeeping and reporting.
Implement and enforce all operational SOPs.
Participate in process optimization initiatives.
Ensure the timely execution of scheduled shutdown activities.

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in a Packing Operator role within a white/grey cement manufacturing plant.
Strong understanding of various equipment used in cement packing operations.
Effective communication skills (written and verbal) for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
