Job Description
To coordinate and support aviation sales activities with the objective of optimizing sales and revenue in accordance with EMARAT’s strategic priorities and goals.Key Accountabilities:Aviation Sales: Participates with Line Manager in sales discussions with existing and potential customers; submits offers based on requirements to various airlines at Dubai, Jebel Ali, Sharjah and Fujairah airportsCoordinates with airlines, ExxonMobil and the Aviation Section for the preparation of sales forecasts for aviation product sales including market review and assessing market growthAnalyses historical statistical data and prepares customer wise performance appraisal for Management’s reviewContract Preparation & Renewal: Reviews and evaluates tender documents received from various airlines for the supply of aviation and lubricants, verifies the Corporation’s capability to supply, proposes appropriate prices for Line Manager approvalPrepares tender documents, draws up appropriate contracts if the tender is awarded as per company operating proceduresFollows-up on offers submitted, billing and payment and/or other contractual performance ensuring all documentation and contract formalities are completed and necessary billing instructions are given to Finance & Accounts DepartmentAdministration: Ensures smooth running of all routine and out of routine tasks relating to aviation activities (e.g compliance to Emarat/ExxonMobil JV agreement, process and distribute papers for JV management approval, management reports etc)Monitors the receivables and ensures they stay within the agreed terms and conditions; escalates issues to Line Manager when necessaryReviews invoices prior to submission to key customers to mitigate errors and customers dissatisfaction.Stakeholder Management: Establishes and maintains contacts with Civil Aviation Departments on airline activities at Dubai, Jebel Ali, Sharjah and Fujairah airports to identify sales opportunities and product requirementsWorks effectively, proactively and with urgency across EMARAT and externally to ensure the delivery of joint services/results that meet EMARAT’s interests, and for knowledge sharingQualifications / Requirements:Knowledge:Knowledge of Sales and Marketing StrategiesEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalentExperience:A minimum of 4 years experience within SalesExperience in the Oil & Gas Distribution Industry preferredCompetencies:Goal orientedExcellent communication and presentation skillsIT literate
