Job Description
- Prospecting & Outreach: Identify potential sellers (brands, retailers, wholesalers) through research, LinkedIn, industry directories, and competitor analysis.
- Cold Calling & Email Campaigns:*Engage prospects via calls, emails, and social media to introduce our platform and convert them into sellers.
- Pitching & Negotiation: Clearly communicate the benefits of joining our marketplace, handle objections, and negotiate commission structures or partnership terms.
- Onboarding Support: Guide new sellers through registration, product listing, and platform setup to ensure a seamless launch.
- Relationship Building: Maintain regular follow-ups with potential sellers to nurture leads and close deals.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor marketplaces, and seller pain points to refine acquisition strategies.
- Performance Tracking:* Maintain records in CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and report on lead conversion rates, pipeline progress, and KPIs.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing is a plus).
- Strong communication and persuasion skills (written and verbal).
- Comfortable with cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn messages).
- Goal-oriented with a passion for sales and relationship-building.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify, eBay, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet monthly/quarterly targets.
- Prior experience in sales, lead generation, or business development (preferred but not required).
