Laboratory Technician

Job DescriptionWhat will be your key responsibilities?1- Maintain Microbiology Lab in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and in conformance with all company and regulatory requirements2- Preparation of media and chemical reagents3- Sample set up of all Micro testing (i.e. Finished Products, in process and raw materials, hygiene4- Samples including Environment, air sampling and new products testing).5- Monitor lab equipment performance and report any abnormalities/alarms.6- Manage lab equipment cleaning schedule, maintain and improve the 5S of the lab and maintain hygienic waste management7- Manage hygiene swabs testing (i.e. Plant, Admin and Micro lab).8- Maintain Calibration of micro lab equipment, monitoring and measuring devices.9- Maintain the daily reports including micro results submission in logbooks and Lab QC system.10- Monitor lab inventory/stock and report the status of the stock level.11- Maintain good laboratory housekeeping12- Supervise any activities in the lab and ensure the permit to work is available and approved.13- Support the business in case of critical situation where micro analysis needs to be executed beyond the normal working hours.What can you expect from Mars?Work with over 130,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.Mars is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
