Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership and Planning Develop and execute comprehensive policies for student recruitment, admissions, and registration aligned with the university’s academic goals. Establish and monitor enrollment targets, admissions conversion rates, and student registration timelines. Lead initiatives to enhance student experience from application through graduation. Admissions and Registration Operations Manage the full admissions cycle, application processing, applicant evaluation, and final offers. including coordination with the marketing team. Oversee registration procedures including course enrollment, academic calendar coordination, and student record accuracy. Ensure systems and procedures align with UAE Ministry of Education, the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), and relevant international accreditation bodies. Optimize the use of student information systems (SIS) for seamless admissions and registration operations. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance Maintain compliance with national and international academic regulations, especially in medical and health-related education. Regularly review and update policies related to admissions and registration to meet evolving standards and institutional needs. Participate in institutional and program accreditation reviews as required. Team Management and Development Lead and support teams across admissions, registration, and records management functions. Provide ongoing professional development, performance evaluation, and operational guidance for the admission and registration team. Cultivate a collaborative and data-driven departmental culture. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with colleges, student affairs, IT, finance, and marketing to ensure a cohesive student journey. Represent the university at recruitment events, school visits, and higher education forums. Engage with external recruitment agents and partners to expand student reach. Data Analytics and Reporting Track trends in applications, enrollments, and student retention to guide strategic decision-making. Produce timely reports and KPIs for senior leadership and regulatory bodies. Use analytics to continuously improve outreach, conversion, and retention strategies. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in university admissions and registration, with at least 2 years in a leadership position. Prior experience in a medical or health sciences academic institution is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of UAE higher education regulatory frameworks and medical education accreditation standards. Proven ability to lead systems implementation, policy development, and cross-functional collaboration.  Skills and Competencies: Strategic thinking and execution skills. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse stakeholder groups. Proficiency in student information systems (SIS) and data reporting tools. High attention to detail with a commitment to process efficiency and service excellence. Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset.
