We embrace diversity by valuing the uniqueness of each individual and being committed to equal opportunities for all.Role Purpose The Country Manager Saudi Arabia is responsible for planning and ensuring implementation of all activities for development of the business in line with corporate, regional and functional strategies. The position has P&L accountability for the CU. The job holder is a member of the Middle East leadership team and reports to the General Manager Middle East. Saudi Arabia is the biggest country in the Middle East with about to cross 60 Mio Euro Net Sales in 2024 and with the clear ambition to reach 80 Mio Euro in the coming years.Your Tasks Strategic Leadership and business planning Develop and execute the company's strategic plan, incorporating innovative approaches to leverage digital and eCommerce platforms. Provide visionary leadership to ensure the organization remains competitive in the scope of work, especially in the digital landscape. Monitor the planning activities and implement actions in case of deviations of the set objectives. Operational Management Direct and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards. Implement best practices for operational excellence, with a focus on leveraging digital technologies for process improvement. Act under Lead & Activation OPM – maximizing the impact of the model throughout its execution. Sales: Ensure development and implementation of local channel & go-to-market strategy. Steering the local customer portfolio by adapting regional/ global strategies to gain market shares and improve profitability. Ultimate commercial responsible for driving the sales growth in the CU. S&CM: Ensure and monitor the efficient implementation of agreed sales workstream with the objective to improve physical availability and shopper experience. Digital: Ensure and monitor the efficient implementation of agreed digital agenda; Ability to leverage eCommerce business and a coordinated test & learn agenda. Marketing: Ensure and monitor the efficient implementation of agreed marketing plans and activities for consumer products with the objective to improve brand equity, increase the penetration and/or increase the market position. Financial Management Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure transparent financial management of the CU organization as well as of the country organizations in the dedicated area. Ensuring an appropriate IT support within the CU/ country organizations based on the required internal and external standards, regulations and guidelines. One Team Mentality & Leadership Be responsible for an organization of 30 people with a direct reporting line of 5 people and an indirect reporting line of 4 people (people who report legally into the Country Manager but have also a functional reporting line into the functions). Ensure the implementation of the global HR strategy/ roadmap in the CU organization/ country organizations within the required standards, regulations and corporate guidelines. Drive a One Team mentality to foster unity and collaboration across departments, ensuring seamless operations beyond reporting lines. Encourage a culture of mutual support, shared goals, and collective success. Build a robust, diverse leadership pipeline. Play an active leadership role in the Middle East Leadership team. Compliance Guardian & Risk Management Ensure compliance with internal/external audit, corporate code of conducts and local statutory and legal requirements.
