Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership
Lead and optimize supply chain operations including procurement of raw materials, vendor management, logistics, inventory control, and product distribution
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in sales, marketing, and QA to ensure alignment of forecasts and supply chain activities
Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes, reducing lead times and operational costs while improving service levels
Oversee compliance with GMP, company policies, and regulatory requirements across all logistics and procurement activities
Coordinate with Third Party Manufacturers to meet customer-specific requirements and ensure supply continuity
Represent the supply chain function in executive committee meetings and lead cross-departmental collaboration
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives and financial goals
Propose and drive improvements across departments by reviewing processes, systems, and vendor performance
Plan and monitor departmental budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation
Direct cost optimization and ensure supply chain agility to meet evolving market needs
Lead the deployment of planning systems, demand management tools, and KPI frameworks
Foster collaboration across functional units to deliver value-added supply chain services
People Leadership
Build and lead a value-centric, high-performing supply chain organization with clear accountability
Mentor and develop direct and indirect reports, ensuring succession planning and continuous training in collaboration with HR
Establish a culture of ownership, urgency, and operational excellence across all levels of the department
Build performance oversight programs, metrics dashboards, and regular reporting for leadership visibility

Job Requirements
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Operations, or Engineering; MBA in Supply Chain is highly preferred
Minimum 12–15 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain operations, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role
Proven experience in managing large-scale supply chain functions in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting
Deep understanding of logistics, import/export regulations, inventory optimization, and risk management
Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and advanced planning and reporting tools
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
High level of business acumen, problem-solving ability, and understanding of financial forecasting
