We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain & Logistics Director to lead and optimize end-to-end logistics operations for a major construction firm. The role will oversee all supply chain functions, including the coordination of heavy-duty vehicle fleets and the management of quarry materials (e.g., aggregates, stone, etc.).
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery across large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement robust supply chain strategies aligned with project requirements.
Manage the full logistics cycle including procurement, transportation, and inventory control.
Supervise the movement and utilization of dump trucks, heavy equipment, and raw materials from quarries.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, transport laws, and internal policies.
Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with site operations, procurement, and planning departments.
Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply and logistics operations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 20 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
Proven leadership in managing large fleets and handling quarry/logistics operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and team leadership capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
