Job Description
- Manage the effective achievement of warehouses and logistics objectives through the leadership of the subordinates– setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and the performance of the department
- Manage and follow Up the minimum and maximum of stock. and shipment of final products, and transportation contractors.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of warehouses and logistics / Distributions to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures
- Check and verify shipping records, handle questions or concerns of shipping shortages or overages and address problems with inventory control
- Organize to service each business division while maintaining and improving overall operational and departmental efficiencies.
- Meet or exceed established goals relative to on-time delivery and shipping accuracy performance for customer shipments
- Monitors individual performance via observation and review of various productivity metrics
- Keep stock control systems up to date and plan future capacity requirements.
- Submit a plans for costs savings with a focus on Visibility, Variability and Velocity.
- Observe and audit the disbursement of raw materials and production requirements.
Job Requirements
- 12-15 years relevant experience in warehouses and logistics including at least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce
- relevant experience in Distributions / must
