As we prepare for launch, we are seeking an exceptional and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director to lead the organization from the ground up, establish strategic direction, and ensure sustainable growth in a highly competitive and dynamic industry.
Role Summary:
The CEO / Managing Director will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategic planning, operational excellence, and financial performance of the company. This executive must bring a strong and proven track record in the fleet and trucking industry, with substantial experience in leading large-scale operations across diverse sectors and business functions, including logistics, transportation, maintenance, compliance, business development, and technology integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and execute the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategic plan.
- Build and lead a high-performing executive team and workforce from inception.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the fleet and trucking business, ensuring efficiency, safety, and service quality.
- Lead the planning and implementation of scalable transportation networks, including asset acquisition, fleet management systems, and route optimization.
- Establish strong relationships with key clients, partners, and government/regulatory authorities.
- Drive profitability, cost control, and operational KPIs while ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor industry trends and introduce innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage and present performance reports to the Board of Directors.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Job Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 8 years in senior executive roles within the fleet, trucking, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Proven success in leading large-scale fleet and trucking operations in well-established organizations across various business sectors and functions.
- Deep knowledge of logistics operations, transportation compliance, vehicle lifecycle management, route planning, and fleet technology systems.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in P&L ownership, investment decisions, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to scale operations, enter new markets, and develop strategic partnerships.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
