Job Description
We’re looking for a visionary Supply Chain & Logistics Director to join our executive team and lead our Supply Chain Strategy during a very promising growth phase. If you have a strong track record in Procurement, Warehouses Management and Planning in addition to and using ERP systems, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact!
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
- Negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Diversify sourcing to reduce supply chain risks.
Warehousing & Inventory Management
- Organize and develop storage and distribution policies and procedures.
- Supervise stock level monitoring to ensure availability without overstocking.
- Implement periodic inventory audits and analyze discrepancies with corrective actions.
Supply Planning & Logistics
- Develop short and long-term supply plans aligned with production and sales forecasts.
- Analyze data and forecasts to determine future material and product needs.
- Coordinate internal and external transportation and distribution activities.
ERP System Management
- Oversee the implementation and utilization of the ERP system for supply chain operations.
- Ensure integration of procurement, inventory, and supply data within the system.
- Provide accurate analytical reports using ERP tools.
Team Leadership
- Supervise teams in procurement, warehousing, and logistics departments.
- Develop team capabilities through continuous training and development.
- Evaluate performance and motivate teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Process Optimization & Cost Reduction
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take necessary actions for improvement.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma (if applicable).
- Minimize waste and loss, and enhance operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in supply chain management, including leadership roles.
- Preferred experience in retail or food manufacturing industries.
- Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
