Job Description
- Responsibilities of Supply Chain Manager:
- Lead, plan, and implement the overall supply chain strategy across all functions.
- Direct collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Finance departments at the management level.
- Define and monitor key supply chain KPIs to align with organizational goals.
- Establish, approve, and oversee purchasing and warehouse processes and documentation cycles.
- Supervise and optimize warehouse functions and overall supply chain operations.
- Lead procurement strategies and guide buyers in selecting high-demand and profitable products.
- Drive continuous process improvements and implement strategic solutions.
- Plan and manage logistics strategies for goods movement from suppliers to distribution centers and retailers.
- Identify bottlenecks and provide timely, effective managerial solutions.
- Oversee vendor and distributor selection in coordination with finance, sales, and manufacturing management.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors and business partners.
- Negotiate, approve, and manage supplier contracts at the executive level.
- Monitor shipments and inventory systems through advanced tools and reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery to retailers, maintaining service quality standards.
- Develop and enhance supply chain networks to support business growth.
- Monitor and evaluate overall departmental performance to achieve corporate targets.
- Approve forecasts and inventory plans to ensure optimal stock levels across all stores.
- Lead, mentor, and manage supply chain teams, ensuring professional development.
- Develop long-term strategies for supply chain management to increase efficiency and agility.
- Provide executive operational support and guidance to maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with other management departments to address vulnerabilities and close gaps.
- Handle high-level communications and strategic negotiations with key suppliers.
- Approve and supervise delivery schedules to align with business priorities.
Job Requirements
- BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Post graduate studies are preferred (MBA is preferred)
- Proven experience in planning role.
- Planning and organizational skills
- The ability to motivate and lead a team
- Spoken and written communication skill
- Problem-solving and math skills.
- Very good computer skills.
