Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the Procurement and warehouse team.
  • Monitor and implement strategies that ensure efficient procurement and supply chain operations in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Prepare regular reports on supply chain activities, such as usage, consumption, and stock levels, as required.
  • Monitor inventory and implement stock control measures to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Develop and prepare reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance.
  • Conduct demand forecasting and inventory analysis to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies within the supply chain.
  • Analyze distribution networks to reduce lead times and costs.
  • Coordinate with user departments (e.g., pharmacy, operating rooms, nursing units) to forecast demand and manage supply needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies regarding storage, handling, and distribution of supplies.
  • Oversee the implementation of supply chain information systems and support digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with quality and infection control departments to meet product quality and safety standards.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, A master's degree, or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare or hospital environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and hospital supply chain best practices.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office-based within the hospital, with frequent visits to storage areas, departments, and vendor meetings.
  • May require occasional extended hours during critical supply chain disruptions or emergencies.
