Job Description
We are hiring a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and manage the daily administrative and operational functions of the company. The COO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and act as the second in command within the organization.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in operations management, capable of handling all internal aspects of the business to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across departments. The COO will also represent the company at its international branches as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company across all departments
- Lead recruitment and hiring efforts, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Supervise financial operations and budget development
- Manage production oversight and quality control processes
- Execute and monitor the company’s strategic business plans
- Ensure internal alignment and operational discipline throughout the organization
- Support the CEO by handling internal affairs, while the CEO focuses on outward-facing responsibilities
- Travel to company branches abroad to support and supervise international operations
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in operations or executive leadership roles
- Strong analytical, managerial, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to make informed decisions and manage complex situations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred)
- Willingness and ability to travel abroad when required
- A chief operating officer is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a company. Their responsibilities can include:
- Recruitment and hiring
- Financial operations
- Budget development
- Production oversight
- Executing business strategy
Keep in mind that the role of a COO may vary from company to company according to each firm's needs.
Depending on the CEO's preference, the COO often handles a company's internal affairs, while the CEO functions as the public face of the company, and thereby handles all outward-facing communication.
Compensation Package:
- Gross Monthly Salary: EGP 35,000 /40,000
- Health insurance after 3 months
- Working hours: Saturday to Thursday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday off
