Job Description
•Negotiate with shipping lines and freight forwarders to reach optimal rates.
• Negotiate favorable rates with trucking companies to reach optimal rates.
• Negotiate contracts, review & amend contract clauses.
• Arrange bookings with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics service providers.
• Plan, control, and oversee the shipping, loading, and transportation processes.
• Coordinate with production teams and warehouses teams to ensure product availability on time.
• Collaborate with warehouses and inventory teams to optimize loading plan & loading efficiency.
• Issue and countersign all necessary shipping documents (Commercial invoices, Packing lists, Bill of Ladings, Insurance certificates, Fumigation certificates, Customs certificates, Waiver letters & Certificates of origin).
In implementation of international agreements to reduce customs duties for our customers and achieve product competitive prices
• Following up, review & process payments for invoices (Freight, Terminal Handling Charges, Insurance & Trucking)
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and analyses related to export activities.
• Develop various written communications documents, and reports.
• Foster effective team communication and collaboration to achieve export goals.
• Resolve challenging situations effectively using conflict management skills.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce resource waste.
• Collaborate with relevant staff to develop budgets and improve departmental revenue.
• Demonstrate consistent dedication and hard work to achieve results and improve export operations.
• Actively listen to and address the needs and concerns of the sales team.
• Engage with the sales team to understand their requirements and provide excellent service.
Job Requirements
• Career Level: supervisor / senior specialist
• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree.
• Previous experience in Manufacturing.
• Previous experience in export.
• Good in English language.
