Job Overview
As a Operations Specialist Cards at Emirates NBD, your role is responsible for managing and optimizing the operational processes related to card products, including credit, debit, and prepaid cards.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges, attention to detail to ensure accurate processing, and effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
The Operations Specialist plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency and compliance of card operations, ensuring that all card-related transactions are processed smoothly and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily processing of card transactions, including authorizations, settlements, and disputes.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of card applications, renewals, and cancellations.
Monitor and resolve issues related to card processing, such as declined transactions or system errors.
Maintain accurate records of all card-related transactions and documentation.
Monitor and manage risks associated with card operations, including fraud prevention and detection.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to card products.
Participate in audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Prepare reports for compliance and risk management purposes.
Collaborate with front office, back office, and external partners to ensure seamless card operations.
Facilitate effective communication between different teams to address operational challenges.
Provide updates on operational issues and progress to the Senior Lead Cards Operations.
Participate in meetings and projects aimed at improving card operations processes.
Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in regulatory requirements related to card products.
Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of card operations processes.
Share knowledge and insights with team members to support collective learning.
Skills And Experience
Experience in card operations or a related field, with a focus on transaction processing and risk management.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of card operations and transaction processing.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Understanding of risk management and compliance requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
