Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.com/Do what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo! #BELIMITLESS"Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Director / Sr. Director of Learning and Development to oversee all learning and development, training, and talent management programs within the organization.Ultimately, as an influential leader within the company who will sit on the leadership team, you will build and own the L&D function from the ground up, closely collaborating with senior executives and the co-CEOs. Your overarching goals will be to establish the company as both an employer and brand of choice, and ensure that employees receive top-tier training and development as they grow within their function.What You Will Be DoingCONTENT CREATION: This is essential to this role. You'll bring a track record of developing L&D programming that up-skills individuals and departments at large. This includes the proven ability to steer a transformational learning experience by overseeing dynamic learning activities, cutting-edge curriculum, and resources via a digital LMS (UKG is our system, and if you have direct user experience, it will be a major plus!) You'll foster a culture of continuous learning through implementation of coaching sessions and mentorship programs. Spearhead new training methods, including exciting e-learning courses and gamification programming, ensuring the learning experiences are both fun, sticky, and evolve over time. SUCCESS MEASUREMENT: You will continuously evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of learning solutions to ensure the client's strategic and operational objectives are met. You'll design training programs that align with business goals, making sure every moment of learning quantifiably contributes to the organization's strategic success. P&L OWNERSHIP: You'll own a quarterly + annual budget and will direct resources to the most critical functions + initiatives based on capacity and priorities. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: Hire and develop a high-performing L&D team. Handle performance reviews and skills gap analysis. Craft individual career plans aligned to the department's + business' overarching goals. QualificationsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not essential.8+ years in a direct Learning + Development role / capacity; 5+ years of progressive experience in L&D leadership. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organizational Psychology or relevant field. Master's preferred. In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including content creation, workshops, simulations, e-learning and coaching). Experience with Articulate 360 is a plus. Experience organizing training activities in a corporate environment, ideally within industries such as retail, automotive services, hospitality and/or food & beverage. 5+ years hands-on experience with project management and budgeting. Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS). UKG experience a major plus! Multi-unit / Multi-site location experience is essential.
