What this job involves
We are looking for a Document Controller to join our team in Riyadh.
You will be responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling all project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.
This role ensures proper document management procedures are followed, maintains document integrity, and facilitates efficient information flow between project stakeholders including contractors, consultants, clients, and regulatory bodies.
What your day-to-day will look like
Establish and maintain document control systems and procedures for construction projects
Create and manage document registers, tracking logs, and filing systems
Ensure all project documents are properly coded, numbered, and categorized
Control document distribution and maintain accurate distribution lists
Monitor document status and track revisions throughout project lifecycle
Receive, log, and distribute incoming correspondence and documents
Review documents for compliance with project standards and procedures
Process document transmittals and maintain transmission records
Desired or preferred experience and technical skills
Proficiency in document management software (Aconex, Procore, ProjectWise, etc.)
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with CAD file management and drawing control
Knowledge of PDF management and electronic document processing
Understanding of cloud-based collaboration platforms
Required Skills and Experience
Associate degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field preferred
Document management or records management certification advantageous
Training in relevant software applications (Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, etc.)
Minimum 3-5 years of document control experience in construction industry
Experience with construction project documentation and workflows
Familiarity with construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Knowledge of regulatory submission processes and requirements
