Job Description
Ensure strict adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and company policies.
Conduct daily inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Monitor and supervise workers to ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.
Provide safety induction and training sessions for employees and subcontractors.
Maintain proper documentation of safety procedures, training records, and inspection reports.
Coordinate with project management to implement safety plans and emergency procedures.
Ensure fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency exits are available and in good condition.
Stop any unsafe acts or unsafe conditions that could result in injury or property damage.
Participate in safety meetings, drills, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or related field.
Certified in Occupational Health & Safety (OSHA / NEBOSH / ISO 45001 preferred).
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in construction/industrial safety.
Strong knowledge of local labor laws and international safety standards.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and enforce safety discipline.
