Job Description
. Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.
. Conduct regular safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
. Deliver training sessions and toolbox talks to employees on HSE procedures and best practices.
. Monitor and analyze safety performance data and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
. Maintain records of safety incidents, training, audits, and inspections.
. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices on-site.
. Stay current on relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.
Job Requirements
. Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
. Health and safety certificate is a must
. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in an HSE role (industry-specific preferred).
. Strong knowledge of local and international HSE laws and regulations.
. Experience with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards is a plus.
. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems (SMS).
