Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with legal requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver training sessions and toolbox talks to employees on HSE procedures and best practices
- Monitor and analyze safety performance data and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain records of safety incidents, training, audits, and inspections.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices on-site.
- Stay current on relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Health and safety certificate is a must
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in an HSE role (industry-specific preferred).
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE laws and regulations.
- Experience with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems (SMS).
