Job Description
Job Title: Safety Specialist
Job Purpose: The Safety Specialist is responsible for ensuring workplace safety by monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and providing training. This role plays a crucial part in preventing workplace accidents, reducing costs, and maintaining legal and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct workplace inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Investigate and document workplace accidents and incidents.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
- Issue work permits and ensure contractor safety compliance.
- Conduct safety training for new hires and existing employees.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Investigate and document any workplace incidents.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in an HSE role, preferably within the agricultural, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage staff.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
- Proficiency in preparing incident reports and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to work onsite and conduct field inspections as required.
