Job Description

Our client is an esteemed international offshore service provider specializing in cost-effective construction and project management solutions for the oil & gas industry. They offer safe access and support to offshore worksites through their versatile DP3 fleet, enabling efficient project execution in Construction & Accommodation, Engineering, Lifting, Pipelaying, IRM, Decommissioning, and Accommodation services.Role Purpose:The Crewing Assistant facilitates the daily coordination and administration of offshore personnel scheduling and planning, working closely with the Crewing Manager and Officer. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with flag state and international regulations, coordinating recruitment, and supporting crewing projects.Responsibilities:Maintain crewing and training reports for HR/Crewing Manager.Participate in management and crewing meetings, providing insights.Develop strategies, contribute to HR/Crewing objectives aligned with organizational goals.Advise management, analyze applications, and ensure compliance with legislation.Conduct financial planning, manage budgets, and oversee offshore planning.Define recruitment needs, coordinate introductions, and improve crewing procedures.Safeguard personnel records' confidentiality, manage documentation and certificates.Analyze training programs, assist with STCW convention applications, and payroll administration.Conduct offshore site visits to assess crews' welfare and needs.Communicate relevant information to stakeholders effectively.Provide direction to assigned Crewing personnel, ensuring safety compliance.HSSE & Quality:Meet or exceed company and regulatory HSSE requirements.Demonstrate ownership of health, safety, and environmental control.Work within Quality Assurance system, mentor colleagues on quality principles.Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in crewing or HR management.Experience in maritime manning, STCW95 knowledge, and HR-related legislation.Extensive knowledge of personnel selection, QHSE matters, and clear communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel intermediate/advanced), Word, and email.Character & Competencies:Pleasant disposition, proactive mentality, organizational skills.Ability to manage teams, eagerness to expand knowledge.Productivity, agility, clarity, team spirit, strategic skills, decision quality, dealing with ambiguity, operating skills.
