Key Responsibilities

Define and drive test strategies, plans, and execution across multiple projects.
Design, develop, and maintain manual and automated test cases and frameworks.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents, providing early feedback on quality risks and feasibility.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, performance, and API testing.
Identify, log, prioritize, and manage defects to resolution with the development team.
Prepare and present detailed test reports to stakeholders.
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable releases.
Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring readiness for execution.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
Mentor and support junior QA/QC team members, sharing best practices and guiding growth.
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance/control, with 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, exploratory).
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
Experience with API testing (Postman, REST, GraphQL).
Familiarity with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and using version control (Git).
Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Java, C#, TypeScript, or Python).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
Nice-to-Have (Plus)
Hardware testing experience.
Knowledge of security testing basics (e.g., OWASP, vulnerability scanning).
Hands-on experience with AI-powered QA tools such as:
Testim / Mabl / Functionize (AI-driven test automation).
Applitools (AI-powered visual regression testing).
ChatGPT / Claude / Copilot (for test case generation, documentation, and bug reproduction support).
Katalon with AI features for smart object recognition and maintenance.
Familiarity with cloud testing platforms (e.g., LambdaTest, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
