The HR Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources function, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery across all HR processes.

This leadership role manages HR systems, employee services, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance, while continuously improving HR practices to align with the organization’s goals.

Key Responsibilities



Leadership & Strategy

Develop and execute HR operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead and manage HR operations teams, including HRIS, payroll, benefits, employee services, and HR compliance.

HR Systems & Data

Oversee HRIS implementation, optimization, and data integrity.
Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting and analytics to support decision-making.

Policy & Compliance

Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with labor laws and internal standards.
Manage audits and risk assessments related to HR operations.

Employee Services & Support

Oversee onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and support services.
Promote a positive employee experience through efficient service delivery.

Compensation & Benefits

Support the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
Collaborate with finance to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.

Process Improvement

Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or operations role.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HR technologies (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle).
Proven experience in managing payroll, benefits, HR compliance, and HR analytics.
Excellent leadership, project management, and change management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
