The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of financial management principles, and a proven track record of successful financial oversight within educational settings.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and Analysis:Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with the institution's strategic objectives.Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Provide insightful recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections.Financial ReportingPrepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards specific to the education sector.Present financial reports to the board of directors and other stakeholders as required.Budget ManagementManage the institution's budgeting process, including allocation of funds to various departments and programs.Monitor budget performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure financial targets are met.Work closely with department heads to develop and track departmental budgets.Risk ManagementIdentify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard the institution's assets and ensure financial integrity.Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends that may impact financial operations.Cash Flow ManagementMonitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the institution meets its financial obligations.Optimize cash management strategies to maximize returns and minimize risks.Coordinate with treasury management and banking partners as needed.Audit And ComplianceCoordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.Address any audit findings and implement recommendations for improvement.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
