Ajman, United Arab EmiratesTrendingJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. This includes patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. The role requires a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and education, while maintaining high standards of care in a critical care environmentResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, and evaluation.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.Administer pre- and post-operative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.Participate in emergency response situations (Code Blue, Rapid Response) and provide critical care.Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery processes.Monitor specialized equipment, including ventilators and CRRT, and adjust as necessary.Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with hospital policies and regulations.Manage medication and supply inventories, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Adhere to safety, infection control, and waste management protocols.Participate in ongoing professional development and training.Mentor and support junior staff, promoting a collaborative and educational environment.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Nursing (or equivalent).Valid nursing licenseMinimum 2 years of experience in intensive care nursing.In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing practices, procedures, and standards.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated ability to handle emergency and high-pressure situations with professionalism and competence.Ability to educate and support patients and their families through complex healthcare scenarios.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.Experience with mechanical ventilation and invasive monitoring devices.Job InfoJob Identification 520 Posting Date 06/11/2025, 08:15 AM Apply Before 08/31/2025, 08:15 AM Degree Level Bachelors Degree Job Schedule Full time Locations Ajman, United Arab Emirates Similar Jobs
