Job Description
- Oversee all aspects of production including; operational performance, quality assurance, production planning, and labor management.
- Supervise, select, order and purchasing materials.
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
- Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment.
- Develop and supervise the implementation of strategies for raising productivity, lean management of production, and optimum utilization of resources
- Develop, implement, and manage operational policies and procedures to decrease production costs through an efficient use of continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct inspections to ensure production machinery are operational and efficient.
- Ensure all products produced is consistent with company standards and specifications.
- Conduct employee performance appraisals to identify areas of limitation in order to provide coaching and guidance.
- Delegate and assign work tasks to production staff to achieve set manufacturing targets.
Job Requirements
- BSC in Mechanical Production Engineering.
- + 15 years of experience in manufacturing filed.
- Chemical Engineering knowledge is a plus.
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources.
- Familiarity with industry standard production equipment.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
