Job Description

NatureWorks was founded in 2017 with the aim of growing leafy greens that would contribute to a healthier community. Our mission is to positively impact our environment with a particular focus on saving water, our most precious resource. We grow our greens using 95% less compared to traditional farming methods. Our greens are grown using Aquaponic farming, which is a cycle where fish produce waste, which acts as a natural fertilizer for plants to grow. The plants then filter the water which returns to the fish. The process has minimal environmental impact, saves plenty of water, and produces no waste. It is a process that is free of synthetic chemicals and harmful pesticides, which in turn improves the health of people and reduces the carbon footprint for a better tomorrow.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Work cross functionally within the company to communicate with all stakeholders in customers' success.
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs.
  • Make visits to our customers to identify opportunities for growth within our platform.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous account management experience.
  • Experience in cross functional project management in tech/e-commerce.
  • Food tech experience required.
  • Data driven and skilled in using data/reporting tools.
  • Proactive with high levels of ownership.
  • Problem solver and solution oriented.
  • Local know-how of the region.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager,
  • Junior Account Manager or relevant role.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
