Job Description

  • Develop & improve policies and procedures to meet directorate cooperate, legal & compliance requirements.
  • Support buyers & senior buyers in the tender process as well as subsequent perpetration of draft contract for tendering phase. 
  • Plan, organize, control, manage and evaluate the information and work flow; establish operational plans and initiatives to meet department goals and objectives to achieve optimal efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Liaise effectively with the vendors/contractors and monitor contractors’ performance.
  • Risk and opportunity identifications related to managerial, commercial and legal aspects within contract during the negotiation stage. 
  • Determine appropriate T&C, guarantees and liquidate damages for various types of contract contracts for various types of services levels and related documents for completeness, accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Clearly defines the obligations and rights of each party.
  • Designs and agree with primary stakeholder (User/Requester) appropriate criteria of satisfactory performance.
  • Determine and incorporate with primary stakeholder (Finance and supplier) effective payment terms. 
  • Implement an “Internal customer” culture within the contracts team ensure requirements of the business and the people are anticipated and met
  • Log monitor & maintain records all contracts.
  • Negotiate with suppliers in a timely and reliable manner
  • Develop periodical benchmarking plan for all contracts to maintain sustainable contracting activates. 
  • Distinctively perform any other assigned tasks as required by the direct manager.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in any discipline.
  • Post graduate diploma degree in drafting /formation of contracts is preferable
  • 5years' experience in the contracts & purchasing activities.
  • Deep understanding of  FEDIC is a plus. 
  • Excellent Negotiation, Problem Solving, Communication, and leadership skills. 
  • Organized and Follow up.
  • Negotiation, Problem solving and Communication skills.
  • Excellent writing and reading Arabic & English language.
