Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee and coordinate all local and international procurement activities. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality supply of materials and services according to company plans and budgets. This role plays a strategic part in improving supply chain performance, managing supplier relations, and leading the procurement team.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning & Managing Purchases
- Develop and execute annual procurement plans based on company needs.
- Set and monitor the procurement budget and ensure cost targets are met.
- Analyze and forecast materials and inventory needs.
2. Supplier Management & Contracts
- Identify, assess, and qualify new local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
- Prepare contracts and monitor supplier compliance and continuity.
3. Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement
- Track purchasing operations and supplier performance.
- Improve procurement procedures for higher efficiency.
- Provide regular procurement analysis and reporting.
4. Procurement Systems & Tools
- Manage purchasing activities using Odoo ERP and supply chain software.
- Enhance automation and data accuracy through system utilization.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and support the procurement team.
- Evaluate team performance and drive skills development.
Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Experience
- 10–15 years in procurement, with at least 5 years in budgeting and strategic sourcing.
- Strong knowledge of the furniture, mattress, or related manufacturing sectors.
- Experience with supplier markets and raw materials.
3. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Odoo ERP and supply chain software.
- Advanced Excel and procurement analytics skills.
