Offering a seamless shopping experience and over 14,000 quality products, Homecentre continues to be a one-stop destination for every home.About the RoleHomecentre is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the expansion and optimization of our seller ecosystem across the GCC. This role is pivotal in shaping the growth strategy of our third-party assortment, forging long-term vendor partnerships, and delivering channel KPIs including GMV, NPS, and profitability.The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives. You will drive end-to-end marketplace development—from acquisition and onboarding to ongoing performance management and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketplace Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to expand the third-party seller network in alignment with category goals and business targets.Seller Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and onboard high-potential sellers across relevant home categories, ensuring alignment with platform standards on price, quality, and assortment fit.Commercial Negotiation & Planning: Lead commercial discussions, close partnerships, and develop go-to-market strategies tailored to each seller.Account Management & Seller Success: Ensure best-in-class experience for partner sellers by owning all operational processes, issue resolution, and performance reviews.Performance Optimization: Track and analyze seller performance metrics; build action plans to drive growth or address underperformance.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including merchandising, tech, supply chain, marketing, finance, and customer experience to ensure smooth seller integration and execution of initiatives.Revenue & KPI Ownership: Deliver monthly and annual channel targets through data-driven decision-making, cost optimization, and seller enablement.Team Leadership (if applicable): Mentor junior team members, manage workflows, and promote a culture of accountability and innovation.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business degree is a plus.3–5 years of experience in business development, category/vendor management, or marketplace management, preferably in e-commerce or retail.Proven track record in scaling seller ecosystems and delivering commercial results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and forecasting skills with a data-first approach to strategy and decision-making.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.Experience working in the GCC market and/or Home category is preferred.Willingness to travel within the GCC as needed.
