Job Description

  1. Develop and implement export strategies to expand FUTEC’s presence in international markets
  2. Identify, approach and manage relationships with new and existing overseas distributors, agents and clients
  3. Coordinate with the factory's production department to ensure the availability and conformity of exported products to the quality and specifications agreed upon with international distributors.
  4. Oversee end-to-end export process which includes production follow up, documentation, logistics, customs clearance and payment.
  5. Prepare monthly reports on export performance, available opportunities, and threats to the company in foreign markets, and submit them.
  6. Continuously follow up with international sales agents and brokers, evaluate their sales performance, and address any sales-related issues or complaints.
  7. Establish a system for continuously gathering market intelligence from foreign markets and maintain a database covering all marketing information and exhibitions specific to each export market.
  8. Communicate with international clients, receive and prepare shipping requests, and correspond with them.
  9. Convert confirmed orders into production requests with the factory, follow up on their execution, ensure timely delivery, and conformity with quantities and specifications.
  10. Notify the client of delivery dates and invoice values.
  11. Complete all required documentation for Futec export shipments.
  12. Update the database for costs and tariffs.
  13. Act as the liaison between all production departments in the Futec factory.
  14. Communicate with customs and clearance specialists for both companies.
  15. Contact transport contractors and book appropriately sized containers to ensure shipment capacity and safety and coordinate container loading.
  16. Stay informed about shipping line schedules and timings.

Job Requirements

  • Appropriate university degree
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Fluent in English and preferably other languages
  • Skilled in financial analysis and cost studies
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and public relations skills
  • Proficient in sales and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license (preferably owns a car)
