Job Description
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance:
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for substation equipment (e.g., transformers, switchgear, and protection systems) and factory machinery.
Perform condition monitoring to identify potential failures and mitigate risks proactively.
Corrective Maintenance:
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues in substations and factories.
Execute repairs and component replacements to minimize downtime and restore functionality.
Electrical Systems Maintenance (Substations):
Maintain and service transformers, circuit breakers, protection relays, and other substation components.
Conduct insulation resistance tests, thermographic scans, and breaker timing tests.
Factory Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure proper maintenance of factory machines, including motors, conveyors, pumps, and compressors.
Monitor and optimize the performance of production equipment to reduce operational costs.
Continuous Improvement:
Propose and implement improvements to enhance system reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in O&M.
Job Requirements
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical.
Experience:
5–10 years of experience in operations and maintenance of substations and/or factory equipment.
Hands-on experience with HV/MV systems and factory machinery is essential.
