Job Description
- Inspecting equipment and systems to identify any technical problems.
- Repairing faulty equipment units and testing the functions.
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
- Planning and scheduling repairs and calibrations.
- Conducting daily checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
- Performing general maintenance tasks, including removing machine dust, testing, and
connecting. - Helping develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
- Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
- Oversee testing, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions for medical equipment from other
companies. - Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
- Maintaining organised and detailed maintenance records.
- Implementing the instructions that come from his direct manager
Job Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and
evenings. - Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well-organized and can prioritize tasks.
