About Us

Millennium Farms is a leading agricultural company in Jordan, committed to producing high-quality crops through sustainable and innovative farming practices. As we expand our forage crop operations, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Manager – Alfalfa Production to oversee and optimize all aspects of alfalfa cultivation.

The Opportunity

This is a strategic and hands-on role, responsible for managing the full lifecycle of alfalfa farming—from land preparation and seeding to harvesting and post-harvest handling. The position requires deep technical knowledge of forage crop production, strong operational oversight, and a results-driven mindset to ensure high yields, crop quality, and cost efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all alfalfa farming activities, including soil preparation, irrigation scheduling, seeding, fertilization, pest control, and harvesting.
  • Lead and train field teams, ensuring effective labor deployment and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor crop performance, identify and address issues promptly, and implement best practices for optimal forage growth and regrowth cycles.
  • Manage irrigation systems and water use efficiently, ensuring sustainability and consistency in crop health.
  • Maintain detailed records of field activities, inputs, and yields; analyze data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align crop production with procurement and commercial needs.

Job Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • 7–10 years of experience in managing forage crop production, with a strong focus on alfalfa.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Proven expertise in irrigation management, soil fertility, pest and disease control, and modern forage farming techniques.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and agricultural management systems; fluent in English.
