Senior Tendering and procurement Engineer

1) Perform detailed technical evaluation/review of the tender documents (Specs, Drawings, Bill of Quantities [BOQ]), and ensure that any inquiries or clarifications are raised well to the client.
2) Manage the whole tendering cycle for all construction projects after making sure that packages are well studied, cost is well calculated and price matches company guidelines till package submission  
3) Estimate materials cost in accordance approved technical drawings and sub-contractors relevant prices.
4) Manage completion bill of quantities and all materials quantity surveying along with all required specification in accordance approved technical drawings in liaison with design team.
5) Manage work breakdown for projects and complete pricing required with all suppliers and sub-contractors to and complete all prices comparison required.
6) Manage selection and hiring process of sub-contractors after securing best competitive prices and complete technical assessment required.
7) Review  and authorize quantity surveying for subcontractors, and coordinate with relevant personnel for issuing payment invoices.
8) Prepare, document sub-contractors agreements in coordination with finance team.
9) Develop and update sub-contractors list in all work-flow trades to facilitate awarding process.
10) Provide the necessary guidance for tendering and procurement teams whenever required
11) Keep track of projects’ statuses, create a checklist for assigned duties and tasks, and report relevant information to when required.
12) Maintain accurate and clear documentation for operational procedures and activities.
13) Conduct site visits to investigate the environment surrounding the project when needed.
14) Attend clarification meetings with the Client when required.
