Overview
We are seeking a Corporate Services and Accounting Officer who is proficient in English (speaking and writing) and possesses high level of IT literacy. The ideal candidate will have strong foundation of accounting and bookkeeping. Knowledge of cloud accounting software is desirable but not a necessity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for our clients (UK based) , ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance to the company's quality standards, as well as administrative tasks.
The job is fully remote and work will be conducted during the working hours in the UK. The successful candidate will be working closely and reporting directly to Practice Director which offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.
Job Description
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts (using accounting software)
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Provide support to the accounting team as needed
- Liaising with new clients to answer queries regarding our services
- Communicate with clients and the Tax authority as needed to resolve accounting-related issues
- Ad-hoc and administrative duties
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in English (both speaking and writing)
- Proficiency in MS and high level of IT literacy
- Strong foundation of accounting principles and practices
- Knowledge of accounting software (ideally cloud based)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
