Job Description

  • Record and verify financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate posting of all entries and regular reconciliations.
  • Process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and manage supplier accounts.
  • Monitor customer accounts, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgeted/forecasted figures.
  • Support the finance team in the development of budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist in preparing financial projections and budget revisions as needed.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in cash balances and transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing tax filings, including VAT and income tax, and ensure timely submission.
  • Prepare required documentation and support internal and external audits.
  • Assist in implementing audit recommendations and improving internal controls.
  • Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets and financial policies.
  • Review expense reports, verify receipts, and ensure appropriate approvals.
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects, as required.
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and reporting practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • CPA, CMA, or relevant certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • High level of accuracy in preparing and reviewing financial reports.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Maintains confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial data.
